Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB) is the air and marine accidents and incidents investigation authority in Singapore. Its purpose is to promote aviation and maritime safety through the conduct of independent and objective investigations into air and marine accidents and incidents in accordance with international standards and recommended practices.

Session 5 - Transport Safety Investigation Bureau Sharing Session - 01 August 2017
Mr. Michael Toft, Deputy Director (Air Safety Investigation) of TSIB shared his experience on investigating aircraft accidents and incidents. He also gave overview of the aircraft accidents and incidents which have occurred in Singapore and explained TSIB’s role in promoting safety in the aviation industry. It also gave students a better understanding of how human factors affects aviation safety.
